With regular chlorine level control (1-3 ppm) and weekly use of anti-algae chemicals, you can protect your pond from algae. Our PoolBox ® Anti-Algae product provides effective protection for 7-14 days thanks to its advanced formula.
Turbid water is often caused by inadequate filtration, high pH, or inadequate disinfection. First, set your pH level between 7.2-7.6. Then precipitate the suspended particles using PoolBox ® Precipitator.
Metal ions (iron, copper, manganese) in mains water may react with chlorine and cause discoloration. OurPoolBox ® Brightener binds these metal ions to clarify your water.
This is usually due to free chlorine deficiency and excess chloramine. Chloramine, which is formed as a result of the reaction between chlorine and organic substances, causes eye and skin irritation. Apply shock chlorine.
Daily control during periods of intensive use and weekly control during periods of low use are ideal. pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity and calcium hardness should be measured regularly.
The water in your pond needs to make at least 2 full cycles. For an average home pool, that means 8-12 hours of filtration. We recommend using a variable speed pump to save energy.
